Lighting Maintenance Inc. ("LMI") is seeking a Service Electrician for work in and around NOVA. Work will consist of maintenance, repairs, and installation of electrical & lighting systems. Must be licensed in Virginia. Our work is in two general settings Commercial & Government. You will be tasked with troubleshoot electrical problems and install new wiring or other components. POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

• Licenses – Current driver’s license
• Must have or will obtain a DOT card
• Education – High school Graduate, G.E.D., or equivalent training
• Journeyman’s License (not signed into a J-card)
• Must have completed and show proof of 4-5 apprenticeship program
• Electrical experience – 5 years minimum
• Experience running crews
• MUST be willing to comply with scheduled emergency service
• Must be able to troubleshoot effectively
• Blueprint experience
• Bucket experience or be willing to be trained
• Experience operating equipment preferred but is not required
• Experience completing daily job tickets
• Required to do DVIR / JHA daily

SKILLS :

Operate equipment, trenchers, backhoes, lift trucks in a safe manner

Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
