  • Location : North-central Pennsylvania – Du Bois, PA (15801) and surrounding areas\n
  • Start Date : December 1, 2025\n
  • End Date : March 2, 2026\n
  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • Shifts : Minimum 8-10 shifts per month (blocked days required for travelers)\n
  • Shift Length : 12-hour shifts (day and night shifts available)\n
  • Weekly Hours : Approximately 36 hours / week\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $7,870 - $8,430\n
  • Practice Setting : Hospital Emergency Departments (multiple locations, including Level II trauma centers and critical access hospitals)\n
  • EMR System : Cerner\n
  • Patient Population : All ages – neonates to geriatrics\n
  • Support Staff : Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and nursing teams\n

  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM required for most Pennsylvania locations)\n
  • Active state medical license (IMLC accepted; Pennsylvania medical license highly preferred)\n
  • DEA license\n
  • BLS certification\n
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in emergency medicine\n
  • Experience with Cerner EMR preferred\n
  • Willingness to float to multiple hospital locations and cover various shift types\n
  • CV in month / year format; explanation for any employment gaps over 30 days\n

  • Deliver high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages in hospital emergency departments\n
  • Stabilize and manage trauma, medical, and surgical emergencies\n
  • Perform emergency procedures including intubations, central lines, chest tubes, and code response\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including APPs, nurses, and specialists\n
  • Accurately document patient care in the Cerner EMR system\n
  • Adapt to the needs of each facility, including Level II trauma centers and critical access hospitals\n
  • Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear communication with team members\n
