📍 Location : Athens, Ohio

A well-established, physician-led healthcare organization is actively seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physician – or a Board-Certified Internal Medicine / Family Medicine physician with Emergency Medicine experience – for a full-time permanent position in Athens, OH . This opportunity supports a busy regional emergency department with a strong commitment to quality care and community health.

Position Highlights :

Annual ED Volume : 28,000

Emergency Department Beds : 22

Physician Coverage : 24 hours / day (12-hour shifts)

APP Coverage : 36 hours / day

EMR : EPIC

Position Type : Full-Time Employee (W2) or Independent Contractor (1099)

Leadership : Physician-led organization

Support : On-site administrative leadership and clinical backup

Job Requirements

Requirements :

Board Certification : Emergency Medicine – OR – Internal Medicine / Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience

Experience : Minimum 12 months or 2,000 hours in Emergency Medicine

Ohio License : Active or in process

Procedural Skills : Must submit a list of ED procedures you are experienced in

COVID-19 Vaccination : Required

Clean Malpractice and Licensing History : Required

Residency / Relocation : Must be willing to reside in or relocate to the Athens, OH area for a full-time, on-site position (relocation to be discussed during interview)

Not Accepting : New graduates or visa candidates (J1 / H1B not supported)
