Job Summary :

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and mechanical experience to support our plant operations. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining process systems, motors, electrical equipment, and instrumentation to ensure efficient and reliable production performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Repair and replace gearboxes and related mechanical systems.

Perform advanced welding, cutting, and brazing (TIG / MIG / SMAW).

Diagnose and repair electrical and control system issues.

Work with variable speed drives and other electrical equipment.

Maintain and repair blowers, diverters, baghouses, and pneumatic conveying systems.

Create and update electrical drawings and documentation.

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant process control systems and instrumentation.

Perform calibrations on critical instruments and controllers.

Install and wire motors, run conduit and electrical cable, and set up switches, lights, and receptacles.

Install 110 / 220V distribution centers and perform preventive maintenance on granulation system equipment.

Handle secondary power distribution (480V) and install related equipment.

Maintain and troubleshoot electric motors, motor controls, MCCs, and variable frequency drives.

Diagnose PLC discrete and analog I / O issues; programming experience is a plus.

Direct and oversee contractors assisting with maintenance or installation work.

Communicate effectively with engineering and vendor technical representatives.

Qualifications :

Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance background.

Proficient in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Knowledge of three-phase and single-phase AC / DC circuits.

Ability to perform basic math (addition, multiplication, percentages) using a calculator if needed.

Good communication skills across all organizational levels; bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.

Ability to read and understand safety manuals, operating procedures, and maintenance documentation.

Peripheral and color vision required.

Valid driver's license required (occasional part pickup may be needed).

Must be available for 24-hour on-call duty via cell phone.
