World Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Fall River Mills, California.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive and ongoing patient assessments based on condition and facility protocols.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with healthcare team members.
  • Administer physician-ordered treatments, procedures, and medications accurately and timely.
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and care plans.
  • Document patient care, interventions, and progress using appropriate medical records.
  • Initiate emergency protocols and resuscitative measures as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient dignity, rights, and safety standards.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to LVNs and non-professional staff.
  • Coordinate with other departments for patient procedures and transfers.
  • Adhere to infection control and medication administration policies.
  • Attend mandatory inservices, meetings, and maintain up-to-date certifications.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including supporting other nursing departments when needed.

    • Experience Required :

    Minimum of 1 year acute care nursing experience preferred.

    Prior experience in Medical-Surgical unit strongly preferred.

    Experience supervising LVNs and support staff in patient care settings is desirable.

    Qualifications :

    Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

    Current, active RN license in good standing with the state of California.

    Current CPR certification (required).

    Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required within one year of hire).

    Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data documentation.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
