Enterprise Transformation Delivery

Independently leads multi-disciplinary teams through a portion of large-scale transformational change initiatives, or strategically important short-term engagements, that deliver business outcomes. Drives delivery in complex environments by focusing on collaboration across all levels of the enterprise.

Primary responsibilities include :

  • Independently leading multi-disciplinary teams through large-scale transformational change initiatives.
  • Demonstrating in-depth experience in transformation delivery.
  • Facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
  • Translating initiative objectives into actionable plans.
  • Providing transparency to senior leadership.
  • Ensuring initiative adherence to governance standards.
  • Developing and tailoring communications content.
  • Building relationships and participating in engagement management.
  • Ensuring follow up on all critical items.
  • Learning and supporting understanding of the organization.
  • Leveraging multiple transformation delivery tools.
  • Developing and relying upon relationships.
  • Leveraging deep institutional and banking knowledge.
  • Participating in working groups.
  • Championing new transformation delivery tools.
  • Encouraging a culture of innovation and improvement.
  • Applying resourcing approaches.
  • Supporting business in defining outcomes.
  • Mentoring and coaching team members.
  • Understanding and adhering to risk and regulatory standards.
  • Promoting an environment that supports diversity.
  • Maintaining internal control standards.
  • Completing other related duties.

Supervisory / managerial responsibilities include serving in a lead capacity for less experienced personnel and in an indirect management role for delivery stakeholders.

Education and experience required :

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years' relevant work experience.
  • Education and experience preferred :

  • 5+ years' project, program or portfolio management experience.
  • Prior experience leading organizational change.
  • Relevant financial services industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university; MBA or MS preferred.
  • PMP, Agile, SAFe, Certified BA and / or ScrumMaster Certification.
  • Prior management consulting or comparable client service experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Proven intellectual curiosity.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Evidenced cognitive bandwidth and sound judgement.
  • This is a hybrid role requiring three in-office days per week. The position can be based out of any of M&T Bank's corporate offices below :

  • Buffalo, NY
  • Baltimore, MD
  • Boston, MA
  • Bridgeport, CT
  • Manhattan, NY (Midtown South)
  • Wilmington, DE
  • Washington, DC
  • Anticipated travel requirements include at least once per quarter within the M&T Bank east coast footprint.

    M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $85,104.04 - $141,840.07 Annual (USD). The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
