Senior CNC Programmer / Machinist - Precision Manufacturing

Join a dynamic precision machining and automation facility as a Senior CNC Programmer, where you'll leverage your expertise in Mastercam and Haas CNC equipment to create high-precision components. This role offers an attractive compensation of $26-$36 per hour, based on experience.

Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our expanding precision machining operation in Romulus, MI. This role combines advanced programming skills with hands-on machining expertise, focusing on complex parts production using state-of-the-art Haas CNC equipment.

Essential Responsibilities

Develop and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for multi-axis milling operations
Configure and operate Haas vertical and horizontal mills to achieve precise specifications
Analyze and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and GD&T specifications
Perform quality control using advanced metrology equipment
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in machining processes
Mentor junior machinists and support cross-training efforts
Maintain detailed documentation of programming and setup procedures

Required Qualifications

3+ years of proven CNC programming experience in precision manufacturing

Expert-level proficiency in Mastercam software

Demonstrated expertise with Haas CNC equipment

Advanced knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation

Strong background in cutting tool selection and optimization

Experience with precision measurement instruments
