Key Responsibilities :

• Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
• Monitor and reconcile store cash deposits, safe counts, and register variances
• Support inventory accounting, including shrink, waste, and cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis
• Prepare monthly financial statements and assist in variance analysis
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly
• Track and record vendor invoices, promotions, and store-level expense allocations
• Assist with sales tax reporting, audits, and compliance with local / state regulations
• Maintain documentation for internal and external audits
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate financial data and budgeting
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Identify process improvements and recommend efficiencies in accounting practices
