We are seeking qualified Speech-Language Pathologists to join our dynamic team in Houston, TX, to help patients achieve their communication and swallowing goals in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of varying ages and backgrounds.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
- Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to address patient goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and caregivers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in the field through continued education and training.
Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain licensure).Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Preferred Experience :
Experience in working with pediatric, adult, or geriatric populations (based on the setting).Experience in skilled nursing, outpatient clinics, schools, or hospitals is a plus.
