Overview
Executive Assistant Leadership to CHRO - Human Resources at FirstEnergy. This is an on-site position located at White Pond Drive, Akron, OH.
Base pay range
$74,000.00 / yr - $75,000.00 / yr
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a solid commitment to safety and maintaining a safe workplace for coworkers.
- Provide sophisticated calendar and travel management; prioritize inquiries and requests, troubleshoot conflicts, and make judgments to ensure effective day-to-day scheduling.
- Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks to support the president's ability to lead, including preparing information for meetings, composing correspondence, designing and producing complex documents, reports, and presentations; manage contact lists; arrange travel; complete expense and mileage reports; and handle special projects as assigned.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with other FirstEnergy executives, internal and external stakeholders, and visitors, including handling highly confidential or critical matters; research and prioritize, then determine appropriate actions; exercise judgment to reflect leadership style and policy; communicate on behalf of the senior leader as needed.
- Keep the senior leader informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities; follow up as appropriate.
- Effectively manage the senior leader's time by researching, collecting, and analyzing information in advance.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality; manage sensitive information and materials; maintain organized filing systems (electronic and hard copy).
- Use excellent communication skills with good judgment; anticipate needs and deliver results consistently; demonstrate teamwork with other assistants and employees; support other executives as needed.
- Assist with other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.Minimum 10 years of comparable work experience, including experience supporting C-level executives.Must pass the company's Support and Administrative Selection System (SASS) test.Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook; ability to design and edit graphic presentations and materials.Excellent verbal and written communication and time-management skills; ability to meet deadlines and make informed priority decisions.Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail; commitment to performance excellence; high integrity and discretion with confidential information.Demonstrated business acumen and ability to decipher priorities; professional demeanor with diverse stakeholders, including Board members and executives.Strong teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal skills; ability to think creatively and work with urgency in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently on special assignments; willingness to learn and adapt; capacity to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.Ability to build relationships and maintain positive interactions across all levels of employees and external partners; maintain confidentiality.Ability to deliver quality, accurate work within established deadlines and to handle confidential information with discretion.EEI Testing
