Description :

EPIC experience is required for this position.

The nurse will work in the Emergency Department.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 : 4.

Weekend work is required, with 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks.

On-call and holiday responsibilities are not required.

Float requirements may occur as needed within scope.

Block scheduling may be accommodated depending on unit needs and manager approval.

Minimum certifications required include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS.

CPI and TNCC are preferred certifications.

References from authority figures within the last year are required.

Flu vaccine and COVID-19 vaccine are required, with medical / religious exemptions accepted.

Contracted hours are guaranteed.

Scrubs can be any solid color or provided scrubs.

The unit provides interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.

The unit primarily serves neonate, infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups.

Daily census is approximately 142 visits.

Special procedures may be expanded based on increasing census.

Candidates must have experience with charting systems, particularly Epic.

References from managers, charge nurses, or directors are required from within the last year.

RTO must be finalized at the time of submission and cannot be added after the interview.

There is no radius rule; local candidates are accepted.

Background approval is required prior to any offer.

Candidates must not have attended any disallowed educational institutions as per the set guidelines.

Travel pairs may be accepted with unit leader approval, though the same schedule is not guaranteed.

Modules will be completed during orientation and annually as required.
