Founded in 2019, LESET is a womens ready-to-wear brand rooted in effortless versatility. We design clothing that seamlessly transitions from day to night, balancing polish with comfort. As we continue to expand, were looking for a driven and detail-oriented Design Intern to join our creative team and gain hands-on experience in the fashion industry.

Role Overview

The Design Intern will support the LESET design team across all phases of the creative processfrom research and inspiration through to final sample review. This role is ideal for a highly motivated student or recent graduate who is eager to learn, contribute, and gain exposure to the realities of building collections for a fast-growing brand.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with organizing and maintaining seasonal inspiration boards, fabric research, trim sourcing
  • Support the creation and updating of CADs for line sheets
  • Organize, prepare, and maintain samples, swatches, and archives
  • Assist in fittings by taking notes, organizing samples, and documenting feedback as needed
  • Help prepare for design meetings, showroom appointments, and market week presentations
  • Conduct trend research and competitive market analysis to support design concepts
  • Provide administrative support including sample tracking, filing, and data entry
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Development, Production, Merchandising, and Operations teams as needed
  • Oversee ordering of design supplies as needed
  • Send materials and information as needed to remote Senior Designer
  • Coordinate meetings with outside vendors as needed
  • Keep design areas clean and organized after each meeting
  • Oversee and manage VP of Designs calendar & schedule

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design or related field
  • Strong technical and creative skills, with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office a must
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative
