Description

The Vice President of Demand and Inventory Planning provides oversight and strategic direction of the operations of all forecasting, supply, inventory control, and S&OP functions within TBC North America. This position plays a key role in supporting the development and management of the company's demand and supply planning functions that collectively forecast and procure over $4B in tire and non-tire inventory per year. In addition, this role is responsible for leading both the S&OP and S&OP business functions within the company that collectively orchestrate and manage the ordering, receipt, and deployment of inventory throughout the United States. Lastly, this function is responsible for the management, control, and reporting of all tire inventory within the company which averages over 8M discrete tire units across the U.S at any point in time. The VP of Planning will work closely with both matrix supply chain functions (Purchasing, Operations, Transportation) as well as the TBC BU Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure high levels of inventory fulfillment in support of the organizations sales and inventory objectives.
