Our company is looking to hire a Shop Mechanic / Field Mechanic / Mechanic helper to work on a variety of heavy equipment, Ten wheeler dump trucks, heavy duty autos, misc. small engines and other misc. equipment. We are willing to provided training for the right person, ideally a person with a "Go Getter" mentality who is eager to learn.
You do not need your own tools to start but it would be a bonus.
This position is guaranteed 40 hours a week Monday-Friday with opportunities for overtime.
Job Duties :
- Routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment, dump trucks, trucks
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Repair or replace defective parts, including engines, transmissions, and brakes
- Implement and maintain good recordkeeping
- Follow all safety procedures and company protocols
- Work closely with other team members to ensure timely maintenance and repairs
- Stay up to date on the latest technologies and repair techniques
- Must be able to do shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have a Class C driver's license
