Starting Salary : $75,000 - $80,000 + Commission & Annual Profit-Sharing Bonus
Location : Primarily remote but must reside in Michigan and able to travel to Lansing and Metro Detroit a few times a month
Our client is seeking a relationship-focused Sales Executive to spearhead business expansion by forging strategic partnerships with property owners, managers, and developers.
The ideal candidate has a background in property management, leasing, or regional / area director roles, coupled with strong business acumen. They should demonstrate a clear understanding of property technology’s impact on community financials, particularly income statements and Net Operating Income (NOI). This individual must be able to convey the value of our clients' turnkey solutions, demonstrating how they drive property performance, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall resident experience.
Business Development & Sales :
- Identify, prospect, and close partnership opportunities with multi-dwelling units (MDUs) and homeowner associations (HOAs).
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through outreach, networking, and relationship-building efforts.
- Create and present tailored proposals showcasing the benefits of innovative technology solutions.
Client Engagement :
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding and addressing their business needs effectively.Deliver compelling presentations of the company’s service offerings to property owners and decision-makers.Negotiate agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.Market Knowledge & Strategy :
Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings.Use market insights to develop sales strategies and recommend service improvements.Financial and Operational Insight :
Analyze property financials to illustrate how services can drive growth in Net Operating Income (NOI).Communicate how technology investments improve operational efficiency and resident retention.Operational Collaboration :
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and implementation of services.Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, forecasts, and relevant performance metrics.3+ years of experience in property management, leasing, or regional / area leadership roles.A solid understanding of property operations, including financials, NOI, and leasing strategies.Proven ability to drive growth through sales, client management, or business development.Experience with technology solutions designed to optimize property operations and resident experience.Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Strong relationship-building capabilities with clients and partners.Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
