Department Details

The Pulmonology team is seeking a certified Medical Assistant who is enthusiastic about providing top-notch patient care. Experience a dynamic environment where you create lasting relationships with patients and make a positive impact on health outcomes.

  • Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
  • No weekends or holidays
  • Wage range adjusted based on experience
  • $5,000 Sign on Bonus

Job Summary

As a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA / CMA), you will play a crucial role in advocating for patient needs while collaborating with a caring healthcare team. This position offers opportunities for personal and professional growth as you guide patients on their healthcare journey.

Responsibilities

  • Collect subjective and objective health data and communicate it to providers.
  • Follow through on patient care plans as directed by providers.
  • Communicate provider instructions to patients and caregivers.
  • Participate in care across all age groups in preventive care and follow-up.
  • Obtain vital signs, prepare patients for examinations, and assist with point-of-care testing.
  • Qualifications

  • Graduation from a recognized Medical Assistant program.
  • Prior healthcare experience preferred.
  • Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant through a recognized certification program.
  • North Dakota registration as an MAIII through the ND Board of Nursing (or obtain registration within 4 months of hire).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment.
