$115,000.00 / yr - $130,000.00 / yr

About the Role
Our client, an industry innovator in semiconductor automation systems, is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the design, integration, and commissioning of complex automation and control systems. This hands-on role bridges mechanical, electrical, and software engineering disciplines—ideal for an engineer who thrives in R&D and high-tech manufacturing environments. The selected candidate will drive automation strategy and implementation across one-of-a-kind systems used in cutting-edge semiconductor research and production.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, development, and integration of custom automation and control systems
- Program, test, and debug C# software within the Visual Studio environment
- Develop and maintain PLC programs using Ladder Logic or Structured Text
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to refine and implement control solutions
- Support system wiring, diagnostics, and real-time troubleshooting
- Document system configurations, schematics, and integration processes
