• End Date : February 16, 2026\n
• Duration : 13 weeks\n
• Shift : Nights, 6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM (12-hour shifts), every other weekend required\n
• Hours per Week : 36\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary : $1880 - $2020\n
• Call Requirements : 2 x 12-hour call shifts per 6 weeks (one must be a weekend shift)\n
• Unit : Labor & Delivery (13 beds)\n
• Patient Ratio : 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 depending on acuity\n
• EMR Systems : CPN (GE) and Cerner\n
• Scrub Color : Navy Blue\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience in a hospital setting\n
• At least 1 completed travel nurse assignment in Labor & Delivery\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or compact state)\n
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required\n
• Ability to pass an EKG test\n
• Experience with CPN and Cerner EMR systems preferred\n\nL&D RN Responsibilities\n
• Monitor and assist laboring patients throughout antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases\n
• Communicate effectively with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members\n
• Circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections\n
• Competently triage obstetric patients 20 weeks gestation and above\n
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training\n
• Delegate patient care priorities and supervise assigned nursing personnel\n
