JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the Transfer Pricing team, you will play a critical role in shaping the firm's transfer pricing strategies and ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations. You will collaborate with domestic and global clients to design, create, implement, and defend transfer pricing policies that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. This role requires advanced economic and financial analysis skills, strong expertise in global tax frameworks, and the ability to navigate complex cross-border transactions. Additionally, you will support leadership in risk assessment, audit defense, and strategic planning initiatives.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Lead the development and execution of transfer pricing strategies, including conducting in-depth economic analyses, benchmarking studies, and profit allocation assessments
- Oversee the preparation and review of comprehensive transfer pricing documentation in compliance with OECD guidelines, U.S. regulations, and local country requirements
- Provide expert insights on transfer pricing risks, helping clients optimize tax positions while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Conduct thorough industry and business research to support transfer pricing policy development and risk mitigation
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information, collaborate with teams, and engage with clients and stakeholders
- Exhibits strong project management abilities, including planning, organizing, and executing tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and achieve objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including tax, finance, legal, and business units-to gather and analyze data for transfer pricing models
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement and implements solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall team performance
- Drive process improvements and automation efforts in transfer pricing analysis and compliance reporting
- Review and refine intercompany agreements, ensuring alignment with transfer pricing policies and business operations
- Support and lead responses to transfer pricing audits and inquiries from tax authorities, leveraging economic arguments and business rationale to defend pricing positions
- Monitor and interpret global transfer pricing developments, including BEPS initiatives and regulatory changes, advising internal and external stakeholders on potential impacts
- Assist with special projects, such as business restructuring, tax planning, and mergers & acquisitions from a transfer pricing perspective
