Victorium Legal Inc. is seeking an Attorney with 1–3 years of experience to support a growing docket with a strong emphasis on litigation. Our practice spans civil litigation, probate, estate planning, and tax controversy (tax litigation / audits). You'll take meaningful responsibility from day one—drafting and arguing motions, handling discovery, managing client relationships, and contributing to strategy alongside senior attorneys. Responsibilities :
- Draft pleadings, law-and-motion briefs, discovery requests / responses, and settlement agreements.
- Appear at case management conferences, law-and-motion hearings, mediations, and (as opportunities arise) depositions and trials.
- Conduct legal research and prepare concise, high-quality memoranda and client communications.
- Manage case timelines, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple matters.
- Support probate and estate planning matters (e.g., probate petitions, trust / will drafting) and tax controversy matters (audits, protests, administrative appeals, and litigation).
- Collaborate with partners and staff to drive efficient, client-centered outcomes. Qualifications : Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active and in good standing with the State Bar of California.
- 1–3 years of legal experience in civil litigation, probate, estate planning, tax litigation / audits, or related fields.
- Excellent research, analytical, and legal writing abilities.
- Confident oral advocacy and client-facing skills.
- Proficiency with legal technology (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, MS Office).
- Strong organization : ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively. Strongly Preferred
- Litigation and trial exposure (hearings, depositions, evidentiary motions, or trial prep).
- Experience in one or more of : probate filings and administration; drafting trusts / wills; tax audits / appeals; or civil discovery and law-and-motion practice. Compensation : $130,000
