About The Position

Job Title : Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Specialty : Interventional Radiology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Days

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (7 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM) plus call

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

Knowledge of neuro interventional radiology.

Experience with dialysis patients.

Familiarity with catheters and guide wires.

Experience with stroke patients.

Description :

Candidates must have experience in interventional radiology.

Knowledge of diagnostic x-rays is preferred.

Experience with c-arm studies in surgery is a plus, but not required.

Clienttion badges will be provided.

Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care.

Refusal to remove artificial nails will lead to termination of contract.

Candidates must pass a skills exam during orientation with a score of 90% or above.

Call duties may be required.

Familiarity with IR equipment such as Axiom Artis (Siemens) is advantageous.

The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts during the assignment.

Charting will be done using the Epic system.
