Duties And Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation and analysis of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheet and cash flow statement while providing insightful financial analysis, highlighting trends, variances and opportunities in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting principle, policies and regulations.

Coordinate and support external audits and regulatory compliance requirements.

Coordinate and manage tax planning, compliance, and reporting with assistance from third party provider to optimize tax efficiency and minimize risks.

Lead and mentor the accounting team fostering a collaborative environment.

Participate in business growth initiatives.

Participate in ad-hoc business analysis.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.

Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and accounting principles.

Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in accounting leadership position preferred.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

Schedule Details

Employment Status : Full time (1.0 FTE)

Weekly Scheduled Hours : 40

Hours of work : Hours vary between 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m.

Days worked : Monday to Friday
