• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
• Start date : ASAP
• Required certifications : BLS from AHA, ACLS from AHA, PALS from AHA, TNCC or ATCN
• CPI or equivalent preferred
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population served
• Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish care priorities
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans within established timeframes
• Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and intervention needs
• Participate in patient health education and discharge planning
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
• Delegate unit work assignments and coordinate team assignments
• Function as resource to visitors, physicians, and staff
• Work in clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment
• Must handle emergency / crisis situations with prolonged standing and walking
• Requires heavy physical effort for patient positioning and equipment handling
