Your Role on the Team
Under the general supervision of the enforcement supervisors, the lead parking representative is responsible for all aspects of parking citation management, including adjudication, reconciliation of payments (totaling more than $1M annually), facilitation and resolution of complaints and inquiries regarding parking violations and the administrative adjudication process, dispensation of delinquency notices, and the preparation and scheduling of administrative hearings. Other responsibilities include dispatch duties in support of enforcement officers in the field; and the training of new FTE, casual-restricted, and volunteer enforcement employees. The Lead Parking Representative will be required to use independent judgment in decision-making while maintaining compliance with the California Vehicle Code (CVC), and must articulate written and verbal information effectively, performing multiple complex tasks in a high-stress environment.
