Responsibilities Work in Interventional Radiology within a cancer center and hospital setting Patient population includes IR cases, stroke center patients, and conscious sedation recovery Day shift, 4x10hr schedule from 8 : 00 am to 6 : 30 pm On-call required 1-2 days per week, averaging 4-6 times per month Call RNs assist with PICC procedures (do not perform insertions) Floating between main campus and cancer center connected by pedestrian bridge is required Experience with EKOS or similar devices is highly preferred A-line and procedural wedge pressure monitoring required Charting is completed in EPIC EMR; experience is preferred but not required Responsibilities include assisting with IR procedures, monitoring patients post-procedure, and providing care for a range of IR and stroke cases Team structure includes collaboration with PAs on PICC insertions, with RNs assisting only First time travelers and local candidates are accepted No block scheduling is permitted Scrub attire required as per unit policy Background must be clear of open or active issues for consideration Requirements Active NJ or compact RN license required BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required Minimum of 1.5 years Level I Trauma or 2 years Level II Trauma experience required Stroke center experience required Scrub experience preferred but not required Experience with A-line and wedge pressure monitoring is required Experience with EKOS or similar equipment is highly preferred Must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays No previous permanent or PRN employment with RWJBH health system within the last year Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627015.
