Production Manager

Production Manager – Tuff Shed, Minneapolis

We are recruiting an experienced and motivated Production Manager to contribute to the success of our manufacturing facility based in Minneapolis. This role offers professional growth and the chance to make a real impact to the Company.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Production Foreman and production employees.
• Perform various manual tasks related to the Store's Operations function, including loading trucks, fabricating buildings, operating a forklift, picking up and delivering materials to job sites, etc.
• Oversee daily planning / scheduling of the Operations team's labor and materials.
• Recruit the Production Foreman, Delivery / Warranty, and Pre-Fabricator vacancies in partnership with Store management.
• Ensure tools and equipment are secured, inventoried, and maintained; and that they meet Tuff Shed safety requirements.
• Oversee fastener and hardware allocation and inventory.
• Occasionally perform customer service duties such as resolving warranty issues by performing repair tasks required to satisfy the customer and fix the product at the job site.
• Inspect completed buildings periodically and provide feedback to Subcontractors and Operations team employees on job performance, safety, and quality concerns.
• Perform production safety training and participate in national safety conference calls with the Assistant or Operations Manager.
• Investigate work related injuries and follow up as directed by the General Manager (GM).
• Assist with performance management, career development and disciplinary action when needed of production team members.
• Resolve work problems among Store production employees, keeping the GM abreast of final decisions.
• Assist the GM in performing monthly cycle counts and ongoing inventory management.
