Job Description

As a Security Officer - Data Center Patrol in Tempe, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your responsibilities will include managing access control, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service. By maintaining a visible presence and responding promptly to inquiries, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a positive experience for everyone entering the facility. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity.
  • Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and issuing visitor badges as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide information related to security-related matters.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activity according to site procedures.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
