Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based Emergency Department, including a dedicated pediatric ED within the main unit Level 1 trauma center with stroke and STEMI care Night shifts (3x12 hours), 18 : 45 to 07 : 15 Floating required between ED and ED Observation units, and as a Patient Observer (sitter) throughout the facility Every other weekend and 50% of holidays are required on contract Uses Cerner EMR (preferred but not required) Care for a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and high-acuity trauma cases First-time travelers considered with appropriate trauma experience Modules completed during orientation and annually according to specialty Return travelers within 18 months are not required to complete re-orientation Accepts local candidates at a reduced rate if residing within a 75-mile radius Requirements Active MO or compact RN license required at the time of consideration Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in Emergency Department required Level 1 trauma experience required for first-time travelers Current ACLS and PALS certifications required CPI Blue Card preferred; required if assigned to Behavioral Health Ability to float to various patient care areas as needed Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-614494.
