In this position...

The Ford Performance Chassis Team is seeking an independent, empowered and passionate Chassis engineer to lead the Chassis component development for upcoming performance vehicle programs. The D&R engineer is the single point of contact for all aspects of the chassis component part design; responsible to deliver components and systems that meet program targets for quality, function, cost, weight, and timing.

What you'll do...

• Design and Release chassis components including suspension control arms and related hardware for future Ford Racing production vehicles.
• Work directly with core underbody teams to ensure requirements and design rules are met.
• Interface daily with other D&R engineers, attribute teams, program management, suppliers, and manufacturing to ensure compliance with required specifications and critical decisions are made efficiently.
• Support the testing, prototype, launch builds and ongoing production of Ford Racing vehicles at assembly plants and test facilities.
• Occasional travel may be required to support vehicle development and supplier reviews.

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8.
