About The Position

Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Experience : Minimum 2 years required

License : Valid State License required

Certifications : ARRT N, ARRT R, BLS, CNMT, NMTCB, PET / CT Certified, MIC CT Cross-trainer Certification

Must-Have :

• PET / CT certified
• Must complete MIC CT Cross-trainer Certification within one week after hire
• Epic charting system experience required

Description :

This position involves performing high-quality dynamic static SPECT / CT and PET / CT imaging procedures.

You will utilize patient population-specific standards to obtain the desired diagnostic information for referring physicians.

Various radiopharmacy duties will be required, including receipt, preparation, administration, and storage of radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals.

You will ensure the safety and integrity of the agents used.

Perform various non-imaging procedures according to departmental protocol to obtain the desired results.

Quality control procedures are essential to ensure optimal performance of gamma cameras, computers, and related auxiliary equipment.

You must practice safe handling of radioactive materials according to departmental regulations.

This ensures minimal radiation exposure to yourself and others.

Experience with Siemens Vision 600 PET / CT is preferred.

You may be asked to float within your scope of practice within the facility.

References are required.

Candidates must be able to communicate any prior employment at similar facilities for eligibility.
