As a vital part of our team, you will help support and enhance the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, focusing on cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk support, and data management. By unifying shore-based networks, we aim to improve efficiency and reduce costs for essential IT services.

Your Role as a Help Desk Support Representative :

As the first point of contact for IT-related concerns, you will provide tier 1 support via phone and online platforms. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Monitoring network health and status to ensure optimal performance.
  • Documenting and communicating outage information effectively to colleagues and users.
  • Executing scripts as necessary to assist with problem resolution.
  • Opening and closing support tickets accurately.
  • Correlating events and incidents to improve IT service management.

Basic Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship with an active DOD Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
  • Availability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in IT customer service, including 2 years of experience with ticketing systems and 1 year with remote desktop tools.
  • Compensation :

    The expected salary for this role starts at $26.70 per hour, with final offers considering experience, education, and internal equity, among other factors.
