Baker (Full-time)

We are excited to announce that our beloved family-owned café, bakery, and restaurant is embarking on a new journey to our 2 year old, freshly constructed location in Capitol Hill! We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic baker to become a part of our family.

If you're legally able to work in the US and are over 18, we want you to be a part of our restaurant.

Previous experience in cooking, baking and food preparation, or other related kitchen duties is preferred.  Experience in Filipino or East European baking is desired but required.

This role involves preparing and baking pasties, breads, croissants, piroshki, Filipino pastries and desserts. Based on your skills and performance, we may also provide training for the role of a backup cashier and coffee maker to assist during peak times or when staff is unavailable.

Our work hours are Tue-Sun and are 36-40 hours a week depending on your availability. If possible please include the days and hours you would be available to work so we can make sure you would fit into our schedule.  We need Tue-Fri + Sun.  Please confirm you can work those days when you apply or the days you can. Sunday is the most important day.

Our store hours are :

• Sun : 8 : 30-4 : 00pm.
• Tue : 8 : 30-2 : 30pm.
• Wed; 8 : 30-4 : 00pm.
• Thu,Fri-Sat; 8 : 30-6 : 00pm.

Also, we should mention that this is a tipped role and tips are on top of the base (can be 3-10 an hour).
