PPS is seeking an experienced Paint Production Manager for our new aluminum extrusion facility in Phoenix. The Paint Department Manager has direct responsibility for scheduling, staffing, and overseeing all operations within the Paint Department. This includes managing the flow of painted materials, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety and environmental compliance, and meeting customer delivery expectations. The role requires coordination with customer service, production control, and shipping departments to ensure paint-related processes align with overall production plans.

Responsibilities :
- Work with management and customer service to ensure appropriate scheduling and availability of resources to meet all production plans and customer orders.
- Distribute production schedules and work orders.
- Review production schedules, work orders, staffing tables, and other documents to determine personnel and material requirements.
- Direct all inbound and outbound logistics with detailed planning and routing.
- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction to material planning, production scheduling and product shipment.
- Apply knowledge in capacity planning, supply / demand systems to drive disciplined systems, robust processes, and focused standardization of best practices.
- Provide overall leadership and strategic planning for the facilities Sales & Operating Plans while balancing capacities, schedules, and material flow for all operating departments.
- Develop and implement tools to evaluate inventory levels and recommend strategies for inventory control. Ensure efficient and effective deployment / utilization of asset levels to meet demand.
- Develop and implement capacity optimization tools to perform strategic sourcing and capacity planning.
- Identify, negotiate, and resolve conflicts with respect to material and capacity availability and order-promising integrity.
- Consult with the Operations / Plant Manager, material suppliers, and workforce supervisors to obtain information, secure materials or give instructions with regards to the needs of an order.
- Manage logistics personnel and all logistics systems to ensure all product is delivered per customer requirements at the lowest cost for the company.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess :
Bachelor's degree.5 years of experience in a manufacturing / plant environment.2+ years of experience directly overseeing industrial paint or coatings operations preferred.Ability to read, write, and understand English.Highly Preferred – experience with contemporary scheduling and materials management knowledge including MRP, Demand Flow, JIT, Forecasting, Inventory Planning, Logistics, and Supply Chain design.Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods.Knowledge of industrial paint / coating systems, surface preparation, and finishing techniques.Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including relative costs and benefits.Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Professional communication skills – easily interacts with people and maintains positivityCan track and perform multiple tasks at a given time.Possesses a self-driven commitment to continuous improvement.Familiarity with OSHA and environmental compliance requirements specific to paint operation
