Position Description

King & Columbus, the full-service marketing agency that is a sister brand to The Post and Courier, seeks a creative and highly skilled Videographer / Photographer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will capture and produce compelling visual content—including video, photography, and drone footage—that supports client campaigns and internal marketing initiatives. This position plays a vital role in helping our clients tell their stories across digital, social, and traditional platforms.

This position is ideally based in Charleston, Columbia, or Greenville and requires in-state travel to client locations for content shoots.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video and photography content for client campaigns, events, websites, and social media.
• Conduct on-site and studio shoots, including setup of lighting, backdrops, and sound equipment.
• Operate drones to capture aerial video and photography (preferred).
• Manage full production process, including storyboarding, shot lists, and coordination with clients.
• Perform post-production editing including video cutting, motion graphics, sound design, and color correction.
• Edit and proof photos for use in marketing, advertising, and digital applications.
• Collaborate with the Director of Client Services, account managers, and creative staff to ensure content aligns with client goals and brand standards.
• Maintain equipment and manage digital assets, including proper storage and file organization.
• Assist with creative development and ideation for multimedia campaigns.
• Work cooperatively across departments and with external clients to achieve project objectives.
