  • Float Customer Service Representative (Entry-Level) - Ferndale-Based
  • Location :
  • Home base in Ferndale, MI
  • Travel Required :
  • Will float to Detroit, Madison Heights, and potentially Warren
  • Schedule :
  • Monday-Thursday :
  • 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm
  • Friday :
  • 8 : 30am-4 : 30pm
  • Position Overview :
  • We are seeking a dependable and adaptable
  • Customer Service Representative (CSR)
  • to support multiple clinic locations. This is an entry-level role with full training provided at the Ferndale location. The ideal candidate will be comfortable traveling between sites and working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Answer incoming calls and assist patients with insurance, product eligibility, and cost inquiries
  • Coordinate clinical staff schedules
  • Verify insurance and obtain authorizations / referrals
  • Process orders and maintain order status
  • Discharge patients and manage medical records
  • Prep documents for imaging
  • Provide face-to-face customer service
  • Support patients of all ages, including those receiving prosthetics, orthotics, and mastectomy care
  • Travel & Mileage Info :
  • Mileage reimbursed at
  • $0.70 per mile
  • for travel to / from assigned locations and during the workday
  • Travel time begins once driving to the assigned location
  • Must be willing to use personal vehicle for work-related travel
  • Declaration page of auto insurance

  • Strong-willed and service-oriented personality
  • Ability to handle emotionally challenging conversations
  • Willingness to travel and adapt quickly to changing assignments
  • Positive attitude and pleasant demeanor
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Clean driving record and current auto insurance
  • Nice-to-Haves :
  • Medical or insurance customer service experience
  • Experience in the DME (Durable Medical Equipment) industry
  • Face-to-face customer service experience
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 / hr.
