Lead Program Manager

We are seeking high-leveled talent to join our Program Management team in the Agile Development Division at our Ashburn, VA site. As a Lead Program Manager, you will be responsible for executing DoD-funded program(s) in the growing and important launched effects marketspace. In this role, you will be required to manage one or potentially multiple programs, each at different stages of the lifecycle (e.g., prototype, development, production). Additionally, as the Program Manager, you will own all aspects of execution, including pre-award contract activities, baselining, overall execution, and delivery. This role will lead across a variety of functions to ensure proper risk management, understanding supply chains, manufacturing operations, testing and demonstrations, and overall compliance with requirements and the statement of work. You will be responsible for the cost, schedule, technical performance, and achieving key business and financial objectives. Serving as the primary customer interface for ongoing programs, you will also support business development and strategy for new pursuits and customer engagement opportunities. Program Managers are expected to demonstrate team building, leadership, and communication skills by building relationships of trust with their teams, customers, peers, and leadership, and to effectively communicate with confidence, including regular presentations and status updates to senior leadership.
Essential Functions :
Serve as subject matter expert with comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of program management
Direct all phases of the program from inception through completion
Drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives
Act as primary contact for program activities, leading program review sessions discuss cost, schedule, technical performance and risk
Lead Program Risk Management to identify and mitigate risks that could impact program technical, cost, and schedule performance
Responsible for managing and driving key performance indicators of cost, schedule, and performance requirements of programs through the life-cycle phases of development, implementation, and operations to meet and exceed objectives
Responsible for budget management and financial execution of the program
Develop and manage accurate programmatic and financial forecasts
Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules
Travel up to 25%
Qualifications :
Must Have an Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
