Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Burlington, VT 05401 (Vermont nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : Resource Float Unit (float to Med / Surg Telemetry & Medical-Surgical units as needed) Assignment Length : 16-32 weeks Start Date : November 17, 2025 Nursing Shift : 12-hour night shifts Hours per Week : 36 Schedule : Minimum of every other weekend; flexible scheduling to meet patient care needs Holiday Requirement : Must work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day) Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100–$2250 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license and minimum of 2 years recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience Prior travel nursing experience required Experience in a teaching hospital required Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (mandatory) Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required PCCN and orthopedic certifications preferred Reliable transportation required (personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended; public transportation not available) Vehicles must have all-season or snow tires November–April Ability to explain any employment gaps over 90 days Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Float between Medical-Surgical Telemetry and Med / Surg units as needed Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, teaching hospital setting Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient recovery and safety Accurately document care using Epic EMR Comply with hospital policies, including holiday and weekend scheduling Participate in bi-weekly orientation sessions Apply now to join our healthcare team in Burlington, Vermont and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
