We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role requires a highly organized individual with strong expertise in financial reporting and account management. You will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while contributing to critical accounting processes. This opportunity is fully remote. Expense reporting experience is a must.

Responsibilities :

• Manage month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect all financial transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries to support financial operations and adjustments.
• Conduct thorough account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial audits and reviews.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in developing and improving accounting policies and procedures.
• Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entries.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation and bank reconciliation practices.
• Familiarity with accounting standards and regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
