TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Shelby, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 Duration : 10 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel CERTS REQ : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS EXP REQ : 2 yrs. Traches, cardiac gtt experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, blood products, wound care / dressing changes, management of central lines. No call. EOW. Patient Ratios : RN : 1 : 4 is most common; could possibly go to 1 : 5 depending on acuity Patient Types / Common Diagnoses : Could see any patient not requiring mechanical ventilation – CHF, Dysrhythmia, Chest Pain work up, Stroke, Abdominal illnesses and infections, Respiratory illness, Diabetes, AKI / CKD, ETOH withdrawal, IVDA, etc. Floating : Within region and scope of practice Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division (CMC Main Mercy LCH) If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock) About TNAA TotalMed RN TotalMed is a Top Ten, travel nursing and healthcare staffing agency with the mission of igniting purpose in healthcare.
