Description
- Design school bus electrical systems by applying electrical engineering techniques and principals.
- Develop 3D models, installation drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials.
- Research state-of-the-art developments in the vehicle industry and apply the latest advances to develop low-cost alternatives to current production systems.
- Provide support for production, warranty reduction and field service corrective actions with reliable, serviceable, low-cost solutions.
- Foster strong internal relationships with Manufacturing, Field Service, Quality, Purchasing, and other departments.
- Interface with Test Group personnel to prototype new systems, perform development testing and apply test results to new designs.
- Ensure projects are cost-effective, functional, and friendly to down-stream departments, and compliant with all applicable regulations.
- Effectively communicate information to design teams and other departments.
Knowledge You Should Bring :
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited university / college with 3+ years of related experience3+ years Product development experience requiredGreat written and verbal communication skillsGeneral familiarity of automotive electrical designsPrior experience with 3D CAD softwareAn attached resume is requiredExceptional Candidates Might Have :

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00 / hr.
