Our client has an immediate need for an Additive Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on additive manufacturing and CNC machining, requiring expertise in part optimization, process simulation, and generative design. Responsibilities include working with clients and sales teams to research user needs, developing support structures and machining plans, and creating build layouts for laser powder bed fusion printing. The position also supports manufacturing operations, quoting processes, and workflow improvements while collaborating with teams to ensure high-quality production.
Requirements : ITAR regulated facility. The role demands strong mechanical aptitude, independence, cross-functional teamwork, and proficiency in CAD modeling, AM processes, and CNC machining. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with experience in rapid prototyping and 3D printing. Familiarity with GD&T, inspection techniques, and computer applications like Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is essential. Enthusiasm for learning new skills is also highly valued.
Salary Range : $100,000 to $150,000 annually DOE
