As a UX Designer, you will join the UX / UI team and play a key role in building visualization and monitoring tools for NextSilicon’s novel accelerated compute platform.

Requirements 5+ years of visual and interaction design experience

Strong knowledge of visual and technical accessibility and how it affects your designs

Expertise in modern design suites such as Figma or Sketch

Expertise in designing complex applications for in-depth data analysis and complex decision-making

Demonstrated ability to create and maintain a system of UI resources for designers and engineers

Stay current with best practices in typography, color theory, iconography and data visualization

Proven ability to rapidly iterate from low-fidelity sketches to high-fidelity mockups, even under tight deadlines.

User-centered designer with a pragmatic and systematic approach to simplifying complex concepts into intuitive and engaging experiences

Have examples of high-quality, diverse, dazzling work that demonstrate the above

Experience with data visualization—an advantage

Knowledge of data science and machine learning—an advantage

Responsibilities Own the product's UX and visual design, from concept to delivery

Design intuitive and compelling data visualizations that effectively communicate complex technical information

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on wireframes and mockups, delivering pixel-perfect, annotated high-fidelity designs

Develop and maintain a library of reusable UI patterns and interaction guidelines to enhance user experience and streamline the design-to-development process

Partner with product managers to ensure designs are user-centered, efficient, and technically feasible. Provide design feedback and guidance to engineers throughout the process on visual design and interaction execution
