Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with neuro skills and robotics experience for an evening shift at a Level I Trauma Center.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in the hospital Operating Room
  • Schedule is four 10-hour evening shifts from 11 : 00 to 21 : 30 with rotating days off
  • May be scheduled on weekends as needed by the unit
  • Call required approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend shift per month
  • Patients include high-acuity surgical cases at a Level I Trauma Center
  • Predominantly focused on neuro surgical cases
  • Requires experience with the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
  • No floating required unless otherwise agreed upon during interview or offer
  • Primary responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for a wide range of neuro and robotic surgeries
  • Flexible with RTO requests provided shift time is made up
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Return staff must have at least a 1-year gap before being considered for rehire
  • Pre-start modules are required and completed prior to assignment

  • Active MT or compact RN license
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 3 years of prior OR RN experience
  • Level I Trauma Center experience required
  • Must have experience in neuro procedures including ALIF, anterior cervical fusion, craniotomy, kyphoplasty, laminectomy / discectomy, lumbar fusion, and XLIF
  • Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System required
  • Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
  • References required for consideration
