Work Location : Select Specialty Hospital - Kansas CityPerforms a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admissionProvides patient information and status in a timely manner for the Initial Team Conference and Re-evaluation Team ConferencesParticipates in the patient rehabilitation program on an assigned unitInitiates discharge planning on all patients from the day of admissionCommunicates all pertinent information regarding changes in patient's statusProvides direction, training and supervision of ancillary nursing personnelProvides for and assures personal and environmental safetyPositively contributes to the functioning of the unitMaintains communication with manager and senior nursing staffIdentifies and initiates own professional growthPrioritizes activities and plans for effective use of time and staffPerforms other duties as requestedEmbraces the Select Medical Way and Core Values :We deliver superior quality in all that we do
