Loan Servicing Escrow Specialist

At Regions, the Loan Servicing Escrow Specialist maintains escrow accounts administered by the loan servicing group.

Primary Responsibilities

• Receives and provides escrow analysis in accordance with the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and Federal Housing Authority (FHA) guidelines
• Audits vendors including tax, flood, hazard, and other escrow vendors
• Completes escrow processing including timely payment of taxes and insurance, customer statements, and annual analysis
• Completes escrow research requests
• Monitors and tracks flood insurance for escrowed loans
• Applies and enforces compliance / regulatory matters
• Communicates with customers to assist with various escrow questions as needed
• Investigates and clears outages on general ledger accounts
• Ensures accuracy and integrity of escrow trailers on loans
• Processes private mortgage insurance (PMI) waivers and payments

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Skills and Competencies

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations.

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include : experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

Job Range Target : Minimum : $35,862.50 USD Median : $42,693.00 USD Incentive Pay Plans : This job is not incentive eligible.
