Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC / R systems, with experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC / R systems in residential and commercial settings.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
  • Repair or replace defective components such as motors, compressors, and thermostats.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all work performed.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other technicians or contractors as necessary to complete projects efficiently.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical skills with the ability to work on various types of equipment including ammonia refrigeration systems.
  • EPA Certification
  • Familiarity with appliance repair techniques is a plus.
  • Experience in welding is beneficial for certain repair tasks.
  • Valid driver's license required for van driving responsibilities associated with service calls.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerants, and related technologies is essential.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet client demands.
  • Must have driver license and be insurable.
  • Must be able to climb ladders.
  • Must be able to lift 60lbs.
