Job Summary :

Our client is seeking a Paralegal to join their team! This position is located in Bellevue, Washington.

Duties :

  • Manage common requirements for state licensing and registrations for financial services companies
  • Manage engaging financial services attorneys to ensure licensure alignment, processing renewals on time, coordinating payments to state agencies in partnership with Finance, and maintaining licensing confirmation records
  • Synthesize, organize, and act upon legal guidance related to licensing matters
  • Monitor state agency portals and the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System and Registry (NMLS), staying current on all relevant notifications
  • Perform e-submissions for authorized financial services activities under applicable license types, including profile management updates, financial statements, and renewals
  • Utilize dashboards that organize tasks by due date and status to ensure predictability, transparency, and accountability in licensing requirements
  • Serve as key points of contact with appropriate state agencies

Desired Skills / Experience :

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Hands-on experience with Regulatory Technology tools to support compliance processes, risk management, task tracking, workflows, and milestone management
  • Experience with Power BI strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong collaboration skills with a positive attitude, professionalism, humility, and a sense of humor

    • The approximate pay range for this position is between $20.50 and $29.28 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
