About The Position

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Emergency Medicine PA Locum [Part-time / Locals Only] to work coverage in Altoona & Bedford, Pennsylvania. Starting, as soon as credentialed.

The role of Emergency Medicine PA :

Setting : Outpatient / Clinic
Primarily night coverage (7p-7a).
Coverage : 4-6 shifts per month.
Must : perform – triage / tech responsibilities. EMR : Cerner
Census : Variety of ED patients mixed with lower acuity. 80% AD, 20% PEDS
Experience : Emergency Department.

Multi-site credentialing : 2-locations [Altoona + Bedford – Stroke Certified Facilities]

Additional opening : 48253 (ask about - Everett)

Requirements of Emergency Medicine PA Locum [both locations] :

Pennsylvania Medical License (in-hand)

Board Certified – Emergency Medicine PA

Certifications Required : ACLS; BLS; CPR; PALS [must be AHA]; Stroke Certified, CMEs, (NIHSS)

Mandatory : Annual EMTALA education – from ED Admin.

Minimum experience : 2 years
