Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Hospice for a travel nursing job in Abilene, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift : 10 hours, days
  • Employment Type : Travel

Shift : Monday – Thursday, 2 : 00 PM – 12 : 00 AM (with call 12 : 00 AM – 8 : 00 AM)

Call : Shared between 2 RNs each night (may include triage calls or visits)

Patient Population

  • Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
  • High-acuity hospice and end-of-life care patients
  • Hospice referrals and admissions

    • Requirements

  • License : Active RN
  • Experience : Minimum 2 years in hospice or homecare service line
  • Certifications : BLS required
  • Skills : Pain management, clinical documentation, patient / family education, end-of-life care, use of hospice pain scales
  • Charting System : Altera preferred but not required
  • Local Radius : RN / LVN – 150 miles  (Local candidates not accepted)

    • Additional Information

  • Flu Vaccine : Required (Medical / Religious exemptions allowed)
  • COVID-19 Vaccine : Not required
