The Franklin Butchery is seeking highly motivated and service-oriented individuals to fulfill the roles of Retail Counter Staff. Employees will be responsible for delivering exemplary customer service, advising clients on meat selections, ensuring efficient transaction processing, and contributing to inventory management. There are currently openings for both full-time and part-time staff member.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process customer sales transactions in accordance with established procedures.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations regarding meat selections to meet customer requirements.
- Manage cash register operations and point-of-sale (POS) systems with precision.
- Assist in restocking inventory and maintaining a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
Qualifications and Competencies
Demonstrated experience in customer service is preferred.Basic knowledge of various meat cuts is advantageous; comprehensive training will be provided as necessary.Proficiency in the operation of POS systems and cash registers.Strong communication skills and a consistently professional demeanor.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Work Schedule
Full-Time Position : Standard full-time hours; schedule to be determined upon selection.Part-Time Position : Approximately 20 hours per week; flexible scheduling options are available.
